CurrentCalendarDateTime and frames

I have a frameset with 3 frames, A,B and C. Frame A contains the outline, frame B contains action buttons (like NEW DOCUMENT), frame C contains a calendar view.I’d like that if a user select a region in the calendar view with a single click (let’s say Jan, 10) and then press the NEW DOCUMENT button (remember, in a different frame) the new doc contains in the “StartDate” field the selected date (Jan, 10 in our example).

The uiworkspace.CurrentCalendarDateTime doesn’t work in frame B (the one with the button), so how can I store the selected date somewhere in the application?

This application is Notes client only, not for web.
