Hello all,
I have a numeric field on my form that is of type currency. The field displays as $15,000.00 on the form. In the view it shows as 15000. How can I get the view to display the format as shown on the form and why doesn’t it display correctly? When looking at the documents’ properties it shows the field contents without quotes (in numeric format) and says that the type is numeric.
Any ideas?

The form’s field display properties are stored in the form only and not in the document.
Adjust the display properties of the column to show the format as you wish.

Just realized that the column properties of the view has a “style” tab which allows you to set the column as numeric, punctuated etc…

Yup, that’s what you want.
It’s a shame that when using a field, there isn’t an option to display as the field would in read mode…
