CSS properties - only working when doc is in edit mode?

I have a Domino table which is centered on the page with the cell contents left aligned. IE6 is centering the contents as well as the table. Safari and Firefox work fine. I tried using the field properties style option for each cell - but this seems to only change the field appearance when the document is in edit mode. I’ve tried an external css file, but this isn’t working either. How can I get the table to display correctly when the document is in read mode?Thanks!

Could it be that this is caused by an invalid reference once the document is in read mode?

This is how we reference to external css files (or Javascript files. The following code is aaded to the HTML head content.

REM “Cascading Style Sheets”;

csslink := “<LINK rel = "stylesheet" href = "” + @If(@IsNewDoc;“”;“…/”) + “css/tcont.css" type = "text/css">” + @NewLine + “<LINK rel = "stylesheet" href = "” + @If(@IsNewDoc;“”;“…/”) + “css/lcont.css" type = "text/css">”;

REM “Generic JavaScript functions”;

jsfunctions := “<SCRIPT language = "JavaScript" src = "” + @If(@IsNewDoc;“”;“…/”) + “scripts/functions.js" type = "text/JavaScript">”;

@Implode(csslink : jsfunctions; @NewLine)

css/lcont.css and scripts/functions.js are pages located in the database.

At least thios how we did it in R5. don’t know if there is a cleaner solution in ND6.

Hope this helps.
