Crystal reports and Notes 6 local replicas

I have been successfully running Crystal 8/8.5 reports on a number of Notes databases (5 and earlier)both local replicas and on the Domino server. We had a few problems in the past but they were resolved by using more up to date ODBC drivers versions 3.02c and later. Now I have upgraded my Notes client and designer to Notes 6 and I get the message “ODBC error : ODBC Driver Manager Driver’s SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_DBC failed”.I thought that this could be because Notes 6 had downgraded my SQL driver, so I have downloaded the latest Notes SQL driver from the ibm site (3.02e) but still get the same message.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sue, you might want to check the file path to your local replicas as well, make sure they don’t include the “Data” folder. I have run into this before. Have you tried to create new System DSNs for your local replicas? If all else fails, uninstall all NoteSQL drivers, reinstall the latest and greatest. Make sure version 2.06 is not lingering as well.

My crystal reports 8 users haven’t experienced any issues with the upgrade to Notes 6.5. Hope this helps.
