I have a situation where a person (ABC notes domain) is x-certified on a server(XYZ notes domain) . He needs to be able to send and receive mail from that server using his own mail file on that server.
He can receive internet mail but for some reason - notes to notes from different domains doesnt’ get routed. The two domains above will not route and mail from a third domain (DEF notes domain) does not route.
I could register him on the server, but he didn’t want to wind up having to use several ID’s.

so the person in the ABC domain has a mail file on a server in the ABC domain and needs to send mail from the XYZ domain??? Make sure you have the proper connection docs and domain docs setup between servers in the domains and also that the servers, or high level org certifiers, are cross certified and given access to each other. If the mail is not routing what is the error in the mail router delivery failure notice, error entry in the notes log or error message on the console? Need more info or a better explanation of your setup and the problem. Also, why so many domains? Is this all 1 company?

It is 2 companies.
One company has to send all of the email because of SEC regs. It is journaled and backed up. So his mail file for this purpose is on the server where he is xcerted . . . not on his own server.
I got him set up and xcert.
He is able to login to his mail file on their server and send mail through their server , but for some reason he is only receiving internet mail. not Notes mail.

do you see the mail stuck any where like in the mail.box on a server some where? send him a notes mail and do a mail trace and see how far it gets.
