Cross Certificate between Server and Test Server

I have a set of servers with Domain A…connected, replicating, etc.

I installed an independent test server with a Domain B, and I want all Domain A users to have access to Domain B (the test server) via LAN. When I try to open a database with an existent Domain A user I get this message:

You cannot authenticate server: MYSERVER/DOMAINB

The subject’s public key found in the certificate is not the one stored in our ID file for that entity. Check the local log file for details.

Do you want to access the server anyway?

IBM Lotus Notes

Server Error: The subject’s public key found in the certificate is not the one stored in the server’s ID file for that entity. Check the server’s log file for details.

Thanks

You need to create a cross certificate between the two domains …

However by doing this you are risking replication and mail between your test domain and your live domain, which kind of defeats the purpose … a better solution would be to create test ids for the users you want to give access to.
