I am trying to create a word document using lotus script from the notes client. Every thing works except ‘vbTab’. I have set a tabstop at 3 inches and want the next printed information to start printing at that tabstop. Currently it does nothing.

Did you declare your constants (for vbtab)?
Did you try using chr(9) instead?

Chr(9) worked. How do you declare your constants for word or excel.
Subject: you cant declare office constants directly
you need to convert them to the raw values. If you check out the Advisor and Lotusphere presentations on my site (http://www.johndavidhead.com), there is info on how to do that

Does anyone have a snippet of sample code for this? I need to add a Tab in a script that outputs to word and I’ve never used Chr(9) before. There’s not much helpful documentation in the Help file. I’d appreciate any info. Thanks.
