Create New ToDo From Email with addressees

What lotus script / commands should I use to create a new toolbar button that will create a to do task from an email where the email addressees are included in the todo text.

Currently, with my corporate mailbox template - like most notes mail templates - there is the function to create a todo task from an email - but the addressees of the email are not included in the todo text.

A cumbersome workaround is to forward the mail (to no-one) and then copy the email into a new todo. How do I script such a thing in my Notes client - given that in a corporate environment I am unable to amend the mail template (I am however, able to create toobar buttons based on lotus script)

Many thanks

It’s possible if you use the @GetDocField and @getDocumentUNID commands to store the To field and the Subject field of the currently selected memo, and then use the @Command([Compose]; “”; “Task”) command to create a new To Do document. All you have to do then is use the @SetField command to pas the variables you stored from the memo to the field of your choice in the Task document and call the save command.

That should be relatively easy, but if you’re having trouble let me know, I might have some time to code something for you. It’d actually be a cool add-on for me!
