"Create document failed" when trying to upload files to Connections Server

We have a customer (CEO) who reports the following;

"1) I login to Notes 9, I can connect to the Files plugin ok (downloaded from Greenhouse → IC45PluginsForIBMNotes-20130224-2159.zip)

  1. However, when I try to upload files, I get error;

Dialog Title: Files

Message: “Failed to open the document for viewing. Reason: A problem with the server was encountered.”

  1. L2 reproduced the same error above, connecting to https://greenhouse.lotus.com using same plugin on Notes 9.

In Notes status bar, “Create document started”, “Create document failed”.

Questions

a) anyone see similar error reported by other IBM customers?,

b) would this be a configuration issue or more a software defect?

c) is there relevant client side debug collection that could prove this is a configuration issue or software defect or other?

d) any workaround available?

Subject: Solved - adding com.ibm.documents.connector.service/ENABLE_SSL=true to plugin_customization.ini allows files plugin to upload files ok
