Create an Oultlook calendar entry for Invite using Lotusscript code

Can any body help me with the code to create/send an Invite in Outlook calendar using LotusScript code that will be triggered in Notesdatabase.

I have a notes application “Absence” where user A will request Holiday for another user B and that needs to create an invite to B to update his Outlook calendar accepting will create entry in his Outlook calendar.

In case User A request the holiday, his outlook calendar will be updated on the time requests is made.

Of course, Microsoft has blown smoke before, but I assume an iCalendar attachment would transport the information.

I’m not sure I totally understand what you mean by “Invite in Outlook calendar using LotusScript”. Are you trying to have a Notes application that will automatically generate an invitation from User A to User B for the interval of time that User A is going to be going out on vacation? You also want it to block that interval of time on User A’s calendar? Is that about right?
