Hi All,

I need to create a list (dialod list OR combobox) do display set of choices to be selected by the users. If the required choice is not available, it should be possible to enter the new choice by the user. This requirement is for an web application which runs using IE. Please give me a solution for this.

You may need to write code to simulate this. Create a new form and then create a field to show set of choices and with the help of javascript you need to check whether there are any choices or not. If not available then you need to show the text field for entering new option.

There are two steps to complete your problem -

  1. Display a new window with the list of choices. ( I assume you have done this).

  2. Create a text field to enter choice which is not available in the list.

In the example provided in the url above, change “yourField” to the dialog field name.
