Is it possible to get the number of views in the database using Lotusscript

Use NotesDatabase.Views property.

From Lotus Help file -

Sub Initialize

Dim session As New NotesSession

Dim db As NotesDatabase

Dim views As Variant

Set db = session.CurrentDatabase

views = db.Views

Forall v In views

Messagebox(  v.Name  )

End Forall

End Sub

that will give you folders and views. Try this:

Dim ns As New NotesSession

Dim db As NotesDatabase

folder% = 0

view% = 0

Set db = ns.CurrentDatabase

Forall v In db.Views

	If v.isfolder Then

		folder% = folder% + 1

	Else

		view% = view% + 1

	End If

End Forall

Msgbox "There are " & Cstr(folder%) & " folders and " & Cstr(view%) & " views in this database"
