Usually while making lotus scripts I will have the errors pop to screen for the user to see by using messagebox.
I am writing an agent to run on the server at periodic intervals. What is the normal way to code in errors to be displayed? Or is this done automatically?
Basically if part of the script fails or errors, because it could not open a specific database, should I program in a messagebox or some other method to display the error, or will this be done automatically to the server console?

1: I suggest you read the designer help file section for msgbox - it will only print to the server console in an agent run on the server2: Look into using OpenLog

For server based agents, you can not use any UI classes such as messagebox. You can either open an agent log (look in designer help) or use the print statement if you want it to appear on the domino console and in the server’s log.nsf
