Copy when responding to an email in Verse

Hi all,

A user does a reply/forward to an email and they get a “copy”. This is fine when the email has someone in the copy.
But the email doesn't have anyone in the copy. And we can see that the field is blank

Why is the blank copy shown when trying to reply/forward? It is misleading

Thanks in advance

Hi moises, this is definitely an implementation oversight.

However, one can hazard a guess as to why this happens. When reading a mail the cc field row is shown only when it has some value. In edit mode while composing a mail, cc row is shown by default expecting the use may need to fill the cc value.

Now it seems that when replying to the mail, the copied content from the source mail might have used the same logic as in the read and compose mail case. Since while replying you are in edit mode, the cc row shows up even if the cc field is empty. Or maybe all rows from address tables are copied regardless of populated content. Just a guess! But seems this needs to be addressed.

Hi

Your guess is logical. Could you tell me how we can solve this problem?

Thank you and have a good day
