Hi
This is happening with just one user (the MD) the only one working with MacOS.
SCENARIO
In his Notes he send a email to someone internal (means in the same Domino directory) and put in CC someone in internet (outside). Example TO: James Smith/acme CC: paul@otherdomain.com
And both are receiving the message. And opening his message in Sent view, the addressing is correct as he wanted to be.
PROBLEM
But paul@otherdomain.com receive the message with his address repeated in TO and CC (TO: paul@otherdomain.com CC: paul@otherdomain.com) instead of (TO: JamesSmith@acme.com CC: paul@otherdomain.com)
Any ideia?
Thanks
Subject: Are you able to reproduce this when CC’ing another domain?
Hi Jay
That is exactly what happens. The Gmail person sees himself in both TO and CC fileds.
Subject: not only free email accounts
Hi
The problem is not only with free email accounts. Actually the first complain was from a domain that was registered configured and deployed by me. Also has nothing to do with eMail system. The otherdomain.com can be gmail, or, in my case, a Domino based server.
Subject: Are you able to reproduce this when CC’ing another domain?
For example, if you CC an account on GMail, is the person addressed in CC field seeing themselves in the To field?
Subject: Is the behavior the same if you CC: someone’s GMail account?
It could be any free email account, but I give GMail as an example. What am I thinking is that it happens with otherdomain.com but not for every external domain.
