I was hoping someone else had encountered this and could help me solve the mystery. I inherited support of a db that had been built in Notes 5. There is a form in this db that has not been modified since we went to Notes 6. The $DesignerVersion field in the design doc is “5”. In that form there is a section which is a standard section (not controlled access) which contains editable fields. When editing the document (in Notes 6.5.5), fields in that section are not editable. Other fields in the document can be edited with no problem.
I ran Teamstudio Analyzer on the db and the results for that form show a mysterious Controlled Access Section with no Title but a multi-line computed access formula. None of the sections (there are several) in the form appear as Controlled Access sections in Designer. Even if I qualify under the conditions of the controlled access formula as it is revealed in the Analyzer results - I can still not edit the fields in that section.
The section actually should be controlled and I will have no problem creating a new controlled access section to correct the situation, I would still like to know how this phenomenon occurred.
Anyone else ever see this?
