Contact synchronization stopped working after 8.5.2 upgrade

Hi All,I recently upgrade my Domino server and Notes client to 8.5.2 and in doing so have noticed that my contact synchronization has stopped synchronizing contacts.

  • Adding a contact from iNotes or BlackBerry adds a contact to the mail database.

  • Adding a contact to the local address book adds a contact to the names.nsf.

  • The replicator page appears to show it is replicating without errors but doesn’t show any documents sent or received. No documents are sent or received.

  • I’ve rebuilt the views in local address book, local mail file and server mail file.

  • I have not changed the ACL on any of those databases and have verified that Enforce Consistent ACL is disabled.

  • There are no entries in either local log or server log relating to this issue.

I’m stumped… any ideas on the problem or trouble-shooting steps?

Client: Win32, Notes/Admin/Designer 8.5.2, local mail replica.

Server: Linux, Domino 8.5.2

Templates: All @ 8.5.2

I just saw your request now so I will add some info about a test I just completed for you.

I added a new document to my local nab. The ID tab is:

OFC4107CC9:F4593269

ON852577D2:001D6257

SD852577D2:001D6957-SN00000002

DB852576FC:007046D6

NT000111B2

I then forced a replication and this document does not show up in the mail file ($contacts) view.

The log file contains confidential / personal user names and file locations so I won’t post it here but if you leave me your e-address or ftp site and I will get you the full log directly.

There is no mention of names.nsf or contacts. However, I do see:

Access for Destination CN=/O=!!<database>: Access = 0x7FFF:7FFF:7FFF:F7BF [6A0]

Error reading dest cache: 547 (223)
