EDIT: Figured it out. In Admin help, you have to look under Domino Console for instructions, cause there’s no see also to it under Console
What’s the magic to getting the console on the server, to work.
I’ve done 6 server upgrades to 8.51 now, and half the time it worked, half it didn’t.
What i mean is…
Okay, you’re on server, and you fire up Lotus Domino server.
It auto fills in the name of the windows box
port 2050
the name of Administrator
then password is blank.
I couldn’t find anything in help or in this forum to help me understand what it is looking for exactly in the field of server name
Do we put in myserver.internal.acme.com
or myserver/ourOrg
Neither seems to work on the installs where this doesn’t work. On the installs where it does work, you don’t have to fill in anything, it just fires up already running for ya.
