Is anyone aware of any other connectors for Domino and Exchange. We currently have domino 4.5.2 and would like to upgrade it to 6. The problem is we connect to a different company running Exchange 5.5 SP4, and we currently are using the Microsoft Notes connector for Exchange. Microsoft does not officially support the Notes Connector for Domino 6, so the other company and our managers are reluctant to try an unsupported gateway. Are there any other products out there that can do email and directory sync between Exchange 5.5. and Notes/Domino 6?
thanks!

I’ve set up the connector from Exchange 5.5 directly to Domino 6. Used Notes 6 client on the Exchange server. No problem.
There is another product by TenFour Systems but I don’t know anything about it.

Greg, have you had any issues with the Calendar Connector? From my Outlook client, I do not see the busytimes for the resources in Lotus Notes. Also, I am getting inconsistent results seeing busytime in users Notes mail boxes. I am able to book rooms and they get created okay, just not able to see the next time that the room is booked. When trying to book a room from Outlook to Notes in a time slot that is busy, I get a email reply back that it has been declined.
I have all the latest Exchange 5.5 patches and I am running the Notes client R.10 on the Exchange side. Running R6.0.1CF1 on the Domino side.
I am wondering if you or anyone has had issues with seeing the busytimes from the Outlook client to the Notes resources.

Initially, we had a problem getting the calendar connector to run. It had to be added with its two parameters to the ServerTasks= line of Domino’s notes.ini file. First parameter is the name of the Foreign Domain (e.g. Exchange) and the second parameter is its mailbox file (e.g. Exchange.box).
Even when it is running, there is a delay between when an appointment is booked and when free/busy time is updated. It is a 15 minute delay if my memory serves correctly.

Thanks.
I have those notes.ini params already.
Strange that it is showing some of my meetings viewing from Outlook to Notes, but not all, and not showing any resources as being from Outlook to Notes.
But yours is working correct? From Outlook to Notes you and others are not having problems, correct?
From Notes to Outlook seems to be working fine.
I just need to confirm that things still work for everyone or anyone else that has upgraded to R6.0.1CF1?
Thanks to everyone for any input on this. I’m ready to go into production, then I noticed this wasn’t working. I need to get this fixed first before we can begin migrating users.

It works but the customer may only be on 6.0.1.

Thanks for your response. I think I will try it with our existing 4.6.3 client and if that does not work then upgrade it to 6.The only problem is my business partner who REFUSES to run on software that isn’t officially supported by Microsoft. And they don’t even have a support contract anyhow

We haven’t had any problems using the Notes connector running on Exchange 5.5 with our R6 environment.
Note: On the machine running the Notes connector we have Notes 4.67 installed. I have seen in this forum that others use R5 or even R6.

Thanks. I think I will try testing it.
