Connections Desktop Plug-in showing only communities I've been invited and not created by me

Hi team.

Hope you're all doing fine and staying safe.

I'm using HCL Connections Desktop Plug-In for Microsoft Windows, Build 21.11.3306.1300 (November 2021) on Windows 10 20H2 (Build 19042.1526).

Connection Server is V7 on RHEL 7.9

When launching the Plugin explorer, I can access everything: My Files, My Folders, Pinned, etc.

But, when accessing Communities, I can only see/access only the communities that others have created and that I have been invited and I'm a member (Currently 3). I can access the folders and files within them as expected.

However, what I cannot see (and therefor access) are the Communities I've created, no matter if they are public, private or restricted, or have files of their own or have files shared from Files.

As a matter of fact, in Plug-in Preferences, I see those 3 communities, but I don't see any other.

Is there anything I might be missing ?

Sincerely,

Elvis.

Hi Elvis,

Do you have the "Add..." option if you right click on either the Communities icon within the Plugin Explorer display? You should also have the "Add..." option when right clicking in the window of the Communities that currently display.

Thank you,

Michael Montani

Hi @Michael Montani .

Thank you very much.

I wasn't aware of that Add... option.

I used it and I have added the additional communities I need to access their files.

However, I'm still wondering how did the first 3 ones were already there if I haven't Added them ?

Once again, thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Elvis.
