We have completed a side by side migration and upgrade to version 8 from version 7. We have enabled the new 8 UI experience and several things seem to be missing.
External Invite is missing - There is nothing in the navigation for this as far as we can find, however in the mobile app all there and working fine.
Communities and sub communities - they do not appear as they did before and this may just be a learning curve but they no longer flow and its seems to be missing files as we are not seeing any but again go to the mobile app and everything appears correctly and the files are there.
Also the email plugin doesn't seem to be there at all in the new UI but I think this is a known issue.
I just switched the UI back to V7 version and I still can't see the invite link. I have gone through the self registration config file and all looks good. External users that are already registered (this is a side by side migration and upgrade so existing external users got carried over) can login and work fine so I know the external address book is working fine so very strange.
I am just reloading Connections back to V8 after editing the selfregistration config file again and saving it so lets see if if that makes a difference.
With regard to the Communities this was actually just a learning curve with regard to files app and is working fine so just the Invite I am having a problem with.
Very odd, I made an edit to the self-registration file (just added and removed a space) saved it. Changed the UI back to V8 synced the nodes restarted and it now appears so no idea why it wasn't working but happy its now back. Thanks for the comments everyone.
