Connecting to Lotus Domino while roming

Hi all,We are running Lotus Domino 7 in Linux version. We are having two Broad band connections(only one will be running at a time). One of our employee is accessing his mails in roaming. actual problem is if we change the boradband connection at remote place, he has to give that boradband ip on his laptop for connectivity and access his mails.

Is there any solution like without changing the ip to access his mailbox.

The issue you are having is this… you IP address changes when you change your borardband connection? If this is the case then you user will have to change the IP address because if they dont they will try and connect to an IP address that is not up.

You could have some sort of IP routing created such as round robin from somewhere that forwards the IP connection to the domino servers but this would be an expense.

The problem is that to connect to the Domino server the clients needs to know how to connect ie its IP Address. You could create 2 different locations and connection documents (only to be used on one of the Locations) the user would only have to change locations if he could not access one and the Ip addresses would change without much hassle

I hope this helps
