Conflict on SMTP port 25

We have one Domino with SMTP listener enabled on port 25 for intranet use. Yesterday after HW restart it suddenly stop working. Smtp is listed in domino tasks but listener doesn`t work. We exported netstat -an in txt file which shown:TCP 172.30.93.1:25 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING

It`s private domino cluster address which is blocking port 25. Any idea how to solve this?

Most likely there is another application or service that is using port 25.

Issue NETSTAT -ano and this will add the Process ID. Then go to task manager and go to View > Select Columns and add PID to the list. Sort the list of Processes on the Processes tab by PID and find the PID of the task using SMTP. That is the other application that is taking control of your port. Just modify that application’s startup parameters so that it will not load with Windows.

Thanx for the answer. I checked the PID and it`s domino nsmtp task. Domino is listening on port 25 but with wrong address. Instead of public ip from dns its using private ip from Domino cluster. How to force Domino to listen on port 25 with right IP?

What do you have in your server’s notes.ini file for this value:

TCPIP_TcpIpAddress=
