Configuration problem in Linux

Hi techies

For one of our clients, there is a critical issue.

  1. To install & configure Lotus Domino 6.0 in Linux, wherein SAP server is live and running.

  2. While installing Lotus Domino 6.0, it is properly copying all the files to the respective folder.

  3. But, while starting the configuration for Domino, the terminal window hangs and no error message pops up.

linux version - linux 2.4.9 - e27 enterprise

java version - java 1.3.1 Jave 2 Runtime env, standard edition

classic VM (build 1.3.1 J2RE 1.3.1 IBM Build)

No idea why Domino is unable to start the configuration process.

Any help would be more appreciated.

Hi,

I never did an install in the same machine as SAP is running.

I will propose you to bring SAP and any other process running while installin domino.

When you install any new system, you should free up any other process running.
