Computed text referencing a view does not refresh

I’m using a single category view embedded in a $$ViewTemplate… form for web display. I want to customize the ‘No documents found’ message that appears when the view currently has no documents. I decided I could use a formula to a) hide the view and b) output a custom message using computed text. My formula in both cases is something like:temp := @DbColumn(“”;“”;viewname;1);

@If(temp=“”;“None”;“Some”)

This works great when the form is first created or the design updated. But in between times the results do not refesh even if you specifically refresh the view itself. Any thoughts?

Try Re-indexing the view?

Dim ws As New NotesUIWorkspace

Dim view As NotesView

Set uiview = ws.CurrentView

Set view = uiview.View

Call view.Refresh

Call ws.ViewRebuild

Looks like Cache problems. The server sends the page in its cache

Try adding the following lines in the HTML HeadContent of your $$ViewTemplate…

@SetHTTPHeader(“Expires”;@Now);

@SetHTTPHeader(“Cache-control”;“No-cache”);“”
