Hello all,
I have a form “Report” with a computed subform. The formula is:
a := DatabaseType;
@If(a = “Production” & Report_Year = “2006”; “ReportTeams2006”;
a = “Test” & Report_Year = “2006”; “ReportTeams2006Test”;
a = “Archive” & Report_Year = “2006”; “ReportTeams2006”;
“ReportTeamsBlank”)
Subform ReportTeams2006 has the embedded view:
Database - 2006 Report
view - (All Reports)
Subform ReportTeams2006Test has the embedded view:
Database - Test 2006 Report
View - (All Reports)
These two databases are copies of each other but the views are essentially the same design.
In testing, if DatabaseType = “Production” and Report_Year = “2006” then the appropriate subform shows up.
If I then change the value of DatabaseType to “Test” and Report_Year is still “2006” then I get the appropriate subform “ReportTeams2006Test” but the embedded view is the one for “ReportTeams2006”. I have computed text above the embedded view to verify the values and I know what view is showing based on the values that show in the view.
If I then reembed both views and try the test again (Production then Test or vice versa) the same results occur. The right computed subform will always show, but the embedded view will always show based on the first computed subform that I bring up.
I haven’t found anything out about this searching the forums, knowledgebase or fix lists.
Any help or input is appreciated,
