Hello,
I have setup a running Docker registry pod with working authentication.
Afterwards I am trying to upload the CP-Images to this docker registry by running
./setupImages.sh -dr localhost:5000 -u user –p password
But nothing happens. The script just prints it's usage parameters without any further information.
When I just run ./setupImages.sh the script responds with "missing parameters".
Why does this simple script not work ? I have downloaded the CP.zip for 6.5 & 7.0 this week from Flexnet. Maybe some bug hidden inside the script ?
Any ideas/suggestions to solve this issue & get the script running appreciated.
Thanks in advance !!
Kind regards,
Jan
Hi Jan,
please check the document:
https://help.hcltechsw.com/connections/v6/admin/install/cp_install_push_docker_images.html
For me it looks like that you missed the parameter -st, which is a requirement.
Do you also see the problem when you specify a stack (-st) parameter?
Thanks, Thorsten
I have tried every parameter & every variant. Always the same result: nothing happens.
If you omit "-st" it will use "all". But I have also tried "-st elasticsearch" for example.
Hi Jan,
thanks for the clarification. Did you already try to use the new script described in:
https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0074465
You maybe are facing the same known defect.
Thanks, Thorsten
not yet. thanks. will provide update on monday.
https://support.hcltechsw.com/csm?id=kb_article&sysparm_article=KB0074465 + running command manually is working (copy+past from text editor did not work also for updated script as guessed by you)
