@compare or @matches formulas

I have trouble defining which formula to use for below description:

The application has agent to send email notification for first and second reminder. The user who already reply to the form does not need to send reminder but the user who has not reply to get first reminder notification when agent runs.

I have three hidden fields in the main form. First field store the user name who response the main form, second field is doing lookup from profile document of all the user names, and third field compares with first and second field to see who didn’t response and set those names to this field so, when agent run will lookup this field and send email out.

I am not sure which one to use @Compare or @Matches.

Formulas:

first field is computed name data type with allow multi-value with @Name([CN];@UserName) formula.

second fields is same as first field with @Name([CN];@Unique(@GetProfileField(“ProfileList”;“MgNetwork”))) forumla.

third fields is same as firs field with mat:=@Elements(@Matches(“MgResp”;“MgNetworkUser”));

@If(mat!=“”;@SetField(“MgNotResp”;mat);“”) formula.

Please advise.

In third field, use @Replace and get the list of people who are still pending. ie;

Field1 := “A”: “E” (responded)

Field2 := “A” : “B” : “C” : “D” : “E” : “F” : “G” from your profile document

Field3 formula should be @Trim(@Replace(Field2; Field1; “”)) gives you the result in Field3 as —> “B” : “C” : “D” :F" : “G”

so that you can send the reminder to only these people.

Make sure are three hidden fields are Multivalue fields. More simple way is to have a standard list(if not changing list) into the Field2 so that you can avoid getting it from profile document. Whenever user acts on the document by send action or whatever, you update Field1 so that this contains all users who sent the document already. Then third field will just contain the remaning people with @Replace as I mentioned above. Hope this helps.
