@Command to check if field has changed on PostSave event

I want to make sure that something has changed in the document before I make a change to the fields. If the user just puts the document in edit mode and then does nothing I do not want any changes to occur.

You could do this in lotusscript using a global variable, getting the value of the field in the PostOpen event and then checking it in the PostSave event against the fields value to see if it has changed.

if status <> Source.FieldGetText(“status”) then
