Collection object was deleted (reading D:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\{name}.nsf view note Title:'($SoftDeletions)

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me with this strange problem that has cropped up in our Domino environment. I keep seeing several messages, like the following, appearing for numerous mailboxes:

Informational, rebuild view needed - collection object was deleted (reading D:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail{name}.nsf view note Title:‘($SoftDeletions)|($SoftDeletion’)

It doesn’t seem to be causing any issue as such. I have tried disabling SoftDeletions and running the full maitenance set; updall, fixup and compact. Then re-enabling SoftDeletions, but the message returns.

Has anyone else come across this strange issue, any advice would be welcome?

Subject: Shared Mail

Hi Alex,

Thankyou for responding. However I don’t believe this is the same issue as we do not use Shared Mail in our environment.

Another issue that strikes me as strange is the message is says “Informational” however it’s categorised as “Warning - Low”?

the message:Informational, rebuild view needed - collection object was deleted (reading D:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail{name}.nsf view note Title:‘($SoftDeletions)|($SoftDeletion’)

is shown while the mailbox-User works with his TRASH. I tried FIXUP, UPDALL ON- and OFFLINE, but the message still appears. We newly activated the “transaction logging”.
