I was under the impression that when database A is in a cluster with other replica’s in the same cluster would not allow itself to replicate when cluster replication takes place. I was told by my Domino Administrator that Cluster Replication does not take this flag into count when it replicates. Is this true? I searched this forum and could not find info on this question.
Subject: Cluster replication and Temporarily disable replication
This is true, in order to disable replication of a database in a cluster, you need to go into cldbdir.nsf and disable the clusterreplication for this database.
Subject: RE: Cluster replication and Temporarily disable replication
Putting a check in the database replication settings ‘Temporarily disable replication for this replica’ will prevent all replication for that replica - cluster, scheduled, or manual. As the setting description suggests I would only use it in a temporary situation but in any case it will prevent any type of replication for that replica if it is checked.
