Closing Adobe after opening and printing with shellid

I am using the following code to print a pdf from Lotus Script.

Else

what_to_run = “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe”

taskid% = Shell(what_to_run & " /p" & filepath$)

thetask% = Shellid(what_to_run)

I would like to be able to close Adobe when the printing is finsihed, but I have found nothing that would assist in this process.

Thank you for your help…in advance…

Check this out: A Secret Ingredient: SNTT - How to shell a Windows application from LotusScript and close it

You can probably just SEI.lpVerb = “print” then close the application and be done with it.

Hi. Thank you for the information. I have never used Shell programming with Notes and am not sure how this can help me. I will definately look into this and give it a shot. Thank you again for your quick response.
