ClientSync for Roaming\Citrix? - Advice Needed

60% of our 2,500 users roam (they can sit at any machine). Multiple location docs wouldnt work, and we found the built-in Notes Roaming capability to still be buggy. We developed a “WinBatch” routine that points them to a shared network drive to get the Notes data files they need to work.

This has worked pretty well, though it causes a good amount of network traffic, since these files are not local. We are also about to implement a Citrix environment as a new way for users to get remote access to applications, and we need these “user files for Notes” to be available for that as well.

We are in the process of implementing Wolcott Systems “ClientSync”:

Works well so far. Zips up and sends the right files local when needed. Works well with Citrix. And it even helps our users that have multiple machines by syncing up their key files. However, I hate the idea of “layering” another piece of technology on top of my Notes environment.

My question is:

(a) Does anyone have any experience with ClientSync, and can you offer any reviews\tips\horror stories\etc?

(b) Does anyone know if Notes 7 will advance the built-in roaming technologies in Notes?
