Is there any chance you can search on this topic?

I know that the Server exists on Linux, but I haven’t been able to find any Client software for Linux or Solaris. Could you point me in the good direction please.

Search in this forum for “Linux Client” and you will get the answer to your question.

Mr Freeman means that you ought to search these forums for the answer yourself before posting a question that has been clearly answered before. This question has been asked over and over and over again even in the past week.
Do a search on “linux client” and see what happens. Perhaps your answer?
If you still don’t want to search for yourself, these might give you a hint:

Thank you Mr. Domo,
I am not a notes-specialist. I am not even a fan of it. (sorry) I thought if I searched the Lotus.com site, all databases would be included in the search. Apparently this is not the case! That’s why I posted this message on this forum.
I am however very greatfull for your input. Thanks again!
Kind regards,

and there never will be.

Ok, the more polite (and correct) answer is there isn’t one right now at least on the linux side. Given IBM’s new stance on the Linux desktop, I don’t doubt there will be something out there in the next year or so. I do doubt though that there will be a solaris client in forseeable future. IBM and Sun tend to not play well together. I have been hearing something about a Linux rich text client, but can’t seem to get any hard facts about it yet. Maybe some news will come out this week. Have a nice day.

There will never be a Linux client - there is no market for it. That’s the answer from Lotus as stated in this forum and the R5 forum over and over and over.
The Lotus Workplace Client - demonstrated at LotusSphere this week is the correct answer.

I think this is what you want - something that would not have been known until this week anyway.

The reason why there isn’t a Linux client is that there isn’t any demand for it. With the new client above, I highly doubt IBM will put forth effort to create a binary client for Linux. Their direction is Java.
