Hello,we are experiencing big problems displaying and using Chinese characters in Notes on MAC.
Our application has to run on the MAC client and documents have to contain RT fields with Chinese and English characters. Server is on Windows 2003.
So first we tried to copy paste Chinese characters into rt fields on the mac. We got funny characters displayed in the rt fields but on the web (safari) the same document looked fine.
We looked at the document on a Windows XP client. We saw the right Chinese character!
Then we tried to key in Chinese characters on the MAC client. It looked fine in the (MAC) rt field, but was not readable on the Windows client nor on the web.
We have been experimenting with language settings and character sets but found no solution.
I learned that there are some problems with cyrillic fonts through this forum. Is there a similar known problem with Chinese fonts?
