Hi Jan,
I assume you are running HCL Connections on premise.
Because HCL Connections is a stack-product running on IBM WebSphere Application Server and the most SSL settings of it belongs to the WebSphere Application Server runtime, I think that you can try to follow the general IBM technotes to renew or replace those certificates. Here are some links that provide you some instructions to renew or replace those certificates:
Renewing a certificate in SSL
How do I replace the IBM default certificate With a Third-party certificate authority (CA) certificate in WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment via the admin console
Adding certificates to the WebSphere trust store
There might be one specific thing, when you use Tiny Editor Services for which I also would suggest you to check:
Configuring the SSL certificates for the Tiny Editors Services
However... also this kind of SSL setting is something that also can be done in the WAS-admin-console.
I hope that helps.
Thanks, Thorsten
Hey Jan,
in addition to what Thorsten said, this depends on how you Connections environment looks and which specific TLS Certificate you want to change.
If you have to change the certficate on the IBM HTTP Server which is in front of Connections, take a look at the following:
https://opensource.hcltechsw.com/connections-doc/v8-cr5/admin/install/t_configure_ihs_b.html
You also may have NGINX in front of IBM HTTP Server and HCL Connections, then you might have to change the certificate on NGINX (too)...
Best regards,
Milan
