Changing Location is Very Slow

Hello to All,

We recently update Servers and Clients from 5.0.12 and 6.5.4 to 7.0.1 FP1 on Servers and 7.0.1 on Clients.

We have several clients using ISDN lines.Typical operation is:

This Clients change location to Office, replicate,

and change again location to Island.

When Clients are Disconnected (Island) and want to “reach” Server by changing location to Office this simple operation is now on version 7.0.1 much more slower than with 6.5.4.

Is this related to the much more heavy 7.0.1 template file?

The template from server is, anytime the user connect, downloaded to Local system ?

Communications infrastructure don’t change.

Anyone can help?

Subject: Changing Location is Very Slow

Delete the Cache.NDK file. That will eliminate lots of baggage slowing you down. After changing mail templates, many design elements have changed and sometimes (not always), the client doesn’t deal with cached copies very well.
