Changed to mail template not being refreshed in user mail files

Hi,I have made some minor changes to the mail template - mail6.ntf.

however the user mailboxes do not get this change, inspite of doing a design refresh on them.

even waiting for admin process overnight didnt help.

I have done this before many times, and the minute i do the design refresh the change takes place and replicates to all other mail databases overnight.

any ideas what i am missing, I am doing this in Lotus 6.5.3 version now

first i would like to apologise for hijack and OT ur thread here but i need to ask u a simple question.

you said you made some changes to the mail template, which is the new memo template i assume. how did u make the changes? did u just open the mail6.ntf file from the designer and edit from there before saving them up in your \Data folder?

appreciate if you could enlighten me. cheers.

sorry guys. I found the mistake, i changed the local mail template instead of the mail template from the server data folder

now it works fine.
