On a server that has not the session based authentication, is there a way to change the error 401 page that users get when they cancel out of a login (canel button on that username/password prompt)?
Is it possibel to control that by other means than using session based authentication and Domcfg.nsf?
Thanks
Subject: Change error 401 error message?
Hello Benoit,
You will need to create a form with the reserved name “$$ReturnGeneralError” without quotes. This form will handle all general errors.
You will also need to create a reserved field name “messagestring” which contains the error message once an error occurs. Then create a computed for display field and handle the error as follows:
On the $$ReturnGeneralError form, create a computed for display field that uses the following formula:
@If(@Contains(messagestring;“deleted”); “deleted doc”; @Contains(messagestring;“find”); “could not find”; “other error”)

Hope this helps.

My form was named $$AuthorizationFailure and not $$ReturnAuthenticationFailure…
Silly me.
Thanks for the link, that made me realize my mistake.
