Certificate Signature Does Not Match Contents

Trying to install Rapid SSL root certificate into a key chain.

as per here:

however, I keep getting “Certificate Signature Does Not Match Contents”, and i’m tearing my hair out, and just want a button that says “so what, just bloody do it anyway, LOL.”

What gives?
