Cascading view Nav. problem

This is a problem that I have found acts weird in both R5 and R6. Here’s the rundown. In R6 create a couple of cascading views, then open and close them a few times, then one of the last nested views, click on that view so you are looking at it and then collapse the whole sets of views. Once you reopen them the view should return (provided it’s set to go to last doc/view opened), but in R6 it doesn’t, the highlighed views is just the top level of the cascade that you opened and closed, you ‘last viewed doc view’ is now no longer selected. Very odd.

Now this applies to R5 where if you do the same thing then all the cascading views seem to work fine execpt the last one. This view acts funny as it will cause the nav to jump down to that view, and display a scroll bar (even if it’s not required) and hide views above it, if you click on the twisty a few times then it keeps jumping down further and further pushing the nav. upwards requiring you to use the scroll bar (even if it would all fit in your window anyways) then when you do use the scroll bar, it does some funky redraw. The redraw leaves bits of the scroll bar on the screen, and doesn’t properly clean it all up.

Maybe someone from Lotus can look into this. I can repeat all theses errors consistantly, and I can’t beleive that no one else has broght them up. This seems like a big bug to me. Then again maybe no one uses the view nav anymore. Oh. I have done some testing it’s not just my db, cause i build an empy one with like 4 views (using cascading) and i can reproduce this with no docs or anything in an empty db.
