Can't select text in LotusScript Programmer's Pane

Hi all!.

I’ve installed Domino Designer 8.5. When I try to select some LotusScript text in the programmer’s pane with the mouse, nothing is selected.

I suspect that this can be an option in the new Eclipse-based client… I’ve checked all the possible options in “File | Preferences”, but none has resolved muy functionality problem.

Is there any option that allows the mouse text selection in the programmer’s pane or is there any error in my Domino Desgigner installation?

Responses will be very appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Antonio.

Subject: Any Fix For This?

Okay, so 6 years later… Is there a fix for this yet? I have Windows 8 and Domino Designer 8.5.3FP6. The double-click and hold on 2nd click approach works but it doesn’t select text properly so I’m left with holding Shift then using the arrow keys to select text within the programmer’s pane. Super frustrating!!!

Subject: no problem with 901 on windows 7

Running a reasonable up to date 9.0.1.x version on windows 7 i don’t see the problem. Selecting text in a lotusscript agent using a mouse works fine.

Subject: What?!?

I’m seeing this in both the LotusScript and Formula editors.

This will hinder my productivity.

Subject: I have the exact same problem

…and I’m about to revert back to 8.02. I simply can’t select text like I used to - it’s a terrible impact on productivity.

I found that if you double click hold (hold on second click) the drag to select feature works.

I can highlight LotusScript code (in an agent) with my mouse in DDE. Can you install/test on a different machine/installation.
