Can't see OWNER ACTIONS in calendar entry

An admin just got the 9.0 upgrade. She created a new calendar entry on her boss’s calendar. Then she went back in to cancel it…and she does not see “OWNER ACTIONS” (or any options/actions that owners should see.)

When she opens a calendar entry she created BEFORE the upgrade, she does see all the owner actions!

Any ideas of what’s wrong and how to fix?

Hi Linda,

What access level does this admin have, are we talking administrative assistant or someone who has manager rights to the mail file? If it is an AA, what are the access settings?

Did they create a private entry?

Are they able to go to More - Preferences and verify on the Mail - Basics tab, does the Owner field match the boss’ name?

Subject: A couple more things to check

Along with what Dave already described, here are a couple other things to check.

First thing to check is mobile devices. Does the boss use any kind of mobile device? If so, what is it and what version software is being used?

Next you should check who the owner is listed as. This is stored in the Chair item on the entry. To see that value do the following:

1: From any calendar view select the the entry then select the File / Application / Properties menu. This will open the InfoBox.
2: Make sure that it is set to Document in the upper left corner. If it is Database, click on it then select Document.
3: The tabs will change. Click on the 2nd tab; the one that looks like a tiny triangle.
4: The list of items on the note are now visible. Scroll the left hand list down to Chair and click on it.
5: Check the name that appears in the right hand side now. Is it the boss’s name?
6: Repeat steps 4 & 5 for the Principal item.
