Hi
We seem to be experiencing a problem opening databases after we moved the databases from a Windows 2003 server onto a Solaris server.
When you open the Databse you get the “Look for Database on Server” dialog, then if you select OK, you then get the following dialog:
“Database is currently open - it cannot be renamed, removed or deleted”
To open the database you need to do a File \ Database \ Open.
This appears to be required constantly every time you open the Notes Client for a new session.
We have tried deleting the Cache.ndk and re opening all of the databses, but nothing seems to work. The Client seems to loose track of where the databse resides in the file structure.
The case sensitivity of the database file names does not appear to have any affect. The databases were replicated to the new server on cutover.
The Production environment which has run on Solaris for years is not affected.
Any ideas on how to fix this annoying problem would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
