Can't login with short name even with "more name variation..."

Hello,

Something wierd append on one of my new server.

I can’t do any web login using short name. I check my security server document tab and the security setting is set to “More name variations with lower security”. So all seems to be ok…

Using the email address or full name the authentication works fine.

Any help would be appreciate :-).

I change the security settings to “fewer name variation” and change back to “More name variation” and all works fine now.

Juliene,Did you check the person doc in the Public Address Book to make sure there is a shortname defined?
