Can't load design names.nsf

I just Migrated a Server from 5.0.10 to 6.5.1In the process, I also switched physical server.

My Problem: When I started the server, it did NOT prompt to replace design in names.nsf.

I tried “load design names.nsf” from the console, and it started complaining about the SPX port not being well set, and that the server was not found. I edited Notes.ini, disabling this port. Now, whenever I try to run the designer, it does not complain about the port, but still prompts back “cannot locate server” and Design shutsdown. I CAN load Desing task from the Administrator Client (for every database, though), but Names.nsf still is R5.

Please help!!!

What about a replace design from the Notes client using the ND6 Template directly on the Domino Directory residing on the server?

Subject: I thought it was “load design -f names.nsf”, but maybe it does not matter??
