Can't edit location document

Hi there. One of my users cant edit his location document. I need to change the address book lookup settings but I cant. When I double click or use the “edit current location” or “edit” button the fields do not become selectable. I am using the users ID file and he has manager access over the ACL of his mail box.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Dave.

Were you able to track down the issue’s cause? Or even solved it?

What rights [in the ACL] do they have to their Personal Address Book [names.nsf] - isn’t this where the location documents are kept?

Yes ads, you are right.Location documents are in the local names.nsf. If a user doesn’t have rights there, something was changed on that names.nsf… default access is manager…

Try copying that names.nsf, rename it on OS level, then open int in your (or the Admin) client. See what happens.

The user has a roaming profile. I opened up a copy of his address book on my desktop and I can edit it and it has the correct settings. On his desktop the ACL says “manager” but the location document doesnt have the correct settings nor can I (logged in as him) edit it!

Any other ideas?

Dave.
