Can't delete message once replied

I am seeing a problem in the 8.0.1 standard client with the Day-At-A-Glance sidebar active, where if you open an e-mail message and reply to it, you cannot simply delete the message by hitting delete. It appears that once you reply to the message, the original message is not the active window, but the Day-At-A-Glance calendar is. I know this, because we are also seeing that once you reply to a message and you want to print the original message, if you hit Ctrl-P it brings up the Print Calendar window instead of the Print Document window.

Now obviously the work around is to click back into the message once you have replied, but for those of us that use the mouse as little as possible this is an awkward additional step.

Doe anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Subject: Still an issue in 8.0.2

We just upgraded a few people to 8.0.2 and this is still an issue. Actually worse than it was before. Now, if just deleting messages in rapid succession from the inbox, with both the day-at-a-glance and preview panes open it moves from your inbox to your day-at-a-glance and starts deleting those items.

Do we know what version this bug fix (MSTR7FGHF8 ) will be in?

This has become extremely frustrating. I can’t tell you how many meetings I’ve deleted, because I’ve had the day-at-a-glance open. This has ruled the day-at-a-glance completely unusable.
