Can't copy some views from live version to copy

I have a strange new problem…

When I make a copy of my database, there are 3 views that won’t copy to the “sandbox” copy. I tried copy and paste within designer and that doesn’t work. This started with the “stared” default view but now the two sub-views of it do not copy either. Any ideas?

Subject: Your sandbox copy, is it on another server?

And does the design element have, say, a role on its access controls?

Access controls on the design element often hide the design element when it’s pasted in.
