Can't connect to server via Client

Each time I try to connect to the server (using the ip address) I get the message “Server is not responding”. I can ping the server using the IP address and the host name successfully. I am at a loss. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! I

I added the IP and server name to my hosts file. This did not help :frowning: Any other ideas?

host file antry must be indentical inboth client and server. Edit entries in your server documents under port and check NOtes Network and Net Address and Enabled tabs.

Make sure entries in your host file are the same as your server docuemnt entry.

Many times using the server IP address in the file-open-application dialog will work . This will create a connection document in the local client and usually indicates an issue with DNS.

Subject: Tried that…
